Celebrate Australia Day at Work - Win $500

Australia Day at Work 2018 WA

Hold a get-together with your workmates between 21- 28 January then post a photo of your Australia Day at Work Celebration on our Facebook page to go into the running to win $500 to go towards your catering costs.

Last year's winners (Southcare Inc) set the bar pretty high - so we're looking forward to seeing how patriotic you can be!

Entries close 28 January 2018 and winners will be announced on 29 January 2018 via Facebook.

All entrants will allow Australia Day Council of WA the use of the pubished images and the judges selection is final discussion will not be entered into.

 

Understanding Civics and Citizenship Community Workshops and Leadership Forums

Our Workshops series covers the Australian Constitution and how the Parliamentary system works; how laws are made; who our main politicial parties are and how to get involved in government decision making. Leadership Forums feature talks from a selection of outstanding Australians about the benefits of civic leadership andhow to get involved. 

Workshops and Leadership Forums also provide information on the Australia Day WA Awards programs that recognise positive contributions to the community.

Tour of Honour - Peel Region 2017  

WA Senior Australian of the Year - Peter Kenyon and WA Young Australian of the Year - Abdullahi Alim took part in a series of events in and around Mandurah. They shared their inspirational stories and provided an opportunity for community members, school students and sponsors to engage in Q&A sessions at each event. Thanks to you both for giving so much of your time.
